Q: WHAT IS ONE WAY TO MAKE THE LARGEST MUAY THAI TOURNAMENT IN NORTH AMERICA EVEN BETTER?
A: OFFERING A SAFER ATMOSPHERE FOR NOVICE JUNIOR FIGHTERS!

Research has shown, a child between the ages of 5-11 still have developing brains. Physicians recommend No Head Contact while during this period of growth. Therefore, when approached to transform the novice division into a "YDL" division, we agreed it was a logical move.

WHAT IS COUNTED IN THE JUNIOR NOVICE DIVISION?

YDL "Class E" and other "NO HEAD CONTACT-NO DECISION" experience will count at 5:1. For every 5 experiences, it will count at 1 bout for tournaments.

YDL "Class D" and above, "NO HEAD CONTACT - WINNER ANNOUNCED" experience will count at 3:1.

ALL OTHER EXPERIENCE WILL COUNT 1:1. IF UNSURE, PLEASE ASK!

If a junior fighter has competed internationally, regardless of the number of fights, they MUST register in OPEN.

BREAKDOWN OF EACH DIVISION:

Novice 0-5 Fights (See above for variation for Novice Juniors.)

Class B 6-15 Fights

Class A 16 & above. Class A is also an OPEN division. Those with 'pro' experience may enter. No purses paid. Amateur tournament rules in effect. Your bout will be listed as an AMATEUR bout with the TBA-SA.

**If you have competed as a pro MMA or in a 'pro' fight in Thailand, you MUST register in Class A regardless if your overall experience is less than 16 fights.

*Please count ALL ring experience! If you are unsure if it counts, ASK! We include in-gym smokers, "sparring nights", sanctioned, unsanctioned, boxing, mma, etc etc. There will be NO excusable reason for not counting everything. If in doubt, do not ask your coach, a friend or a teammate! Do it the easy way: ASK US!

Age 17 CAN fight in the adult division however we prefer to have them compete in the Junior brackets if there are other fighters in their bracket.

SENIORS

*Seniors" are fighters, both female and male, between the ages 40-55. They are required to have an additional physical completed by their personal physician. *See link below for the form.

"Seniors" age 40-49, do NOT have to compete in the senior divisions.

"Seniors" age 50-55 ARE required to compete in the Senior division.
